Exhibit developer Erin McLeary has created a modern-day scavenger hunt that will bring you into Philadelphia’s forgotten gardens and landmarks. A geocaching tour is a scavenger hunt guided by GPS — and the APSM is proud to host a geocaching tour designed by McLeary for Of Elephants and Roses. Hidden around the city near APSM are several “caches” (small waterproof boxes). Using your smartphone, McLeary will guide you on a scavenger hunt to discover these hidden caches and to discover a forgotten Philadelphia history. You’ll find landmarks, gardens, and sites where animals were once housed. All sites are within walking distance of APSM. Join us on a walk into the past, aided by GPS technology!
